Improvements

• All plans will have the pages split into separate PDFs automatically so you don't need to do this manually.
•  Once split, we use a computer to read and store the text from each page. Today, we use this to categorize each page. In the future, we will be able to do things like search all your plans for specific text.
• If you are uploading plans for a new project, we automatically identify spaces (ie. if there is a basement, first floor, second floor) and then we use the content of the document to create all of the rooms in this space.
• We also automatically check your room templates to see if there is an appropriate template for each identified room. If there is not, then we set up a custom room.

Additionally, we have expanded functionality for project specification packages. 

• Previously, specification packages only included your selections. Now, a copy of the plans are stored alongside your selections. This ensures you have a history of both your plans and your selections every time you publish a new version of your specifications.

Bugfixes

• When submitting the waitlist form, an error page would display despite the submission working successfully. This has been corrected.
• Several links for shared selections were opening the wrong page. These have been corrected.

Whats Next

• Public links to your share your selections with anyone who doesn't have access to Custom Builder Select, like subcontractors.
• An improved gallery view on each room to easily visualize your selections together.
• Additional schedules to export visualizations of your exports like the lighting and appliance schedules.
• Additional plan categories for some missing document types that might be typically expected.
